Chain of custody for a store photo
Capture
Camera-only capture in the app. GPS, heading, capture time, device ID and a SHA-256 hash are recorded on the device.
Queue
Offline photos are stored encrypted on the device. The hash and metadata cannot be edited by the user.
Sync
The server re-computes the hash, checks GPS against the store geofence and compares capture time to sync time. Out-of-fence or camera-roll images are flagged.
Store
Originals are written once to the tenant's encrypted bucket; reports reference derived copies.
Export
Evidence packets include a manifest of hashes so any later alteration is detectable.

Retention & legal holds
Set retention per audit type, up to 10 years. Legal holds suspend deletion for a store or entity until released, with every hold logged.
POS and financial data
Sales data from POS integrations stays on Gazi Wellness servers for analytics and is never stored in client-side telemetry, browsers or devices.
Faces and people
No facial recognition. People are assessed only for uniform standards, and faces can be blurred automatically in exports.
